The rumors and leaks related to the so-called Nexus 6 keep on coming. Not only have we seen the device show up in an unofficial render of the phone’s front and several blurry photos, earlier today the first clear image of the device “in the wild” was spotted. Up until now, all the back images we’ve seen have bore the Motorola logo but no Nexus branding, leading some to speculate that either Shamu isn’t a Nexus device or we just haven’t seen the final design. Now a new unofficial render comes to us thanks to Droid Life, giving us a look at the handset with both Motorola and Nexus branding represented.

It is important to note that DL made these images, though they reportedly designed them based off of info they received with the site stating they are reasonably confident that the back images are correct. Of course until Google or Motorola tells us otherwise, we’d take the above (and below) designs with a grain of salt.

If the designs are correct, it means the phone looks very similar to the new Moto X, only bigger. Whether that’s a good thing or a bad thing depends on your personal taste. As a Nexus fan, I prefer the ‘simpler’ design of the Nexus 5 — but that’s just me.

What do you think, liking the Nexus 6 based on what we know so far? For those that are against the idea of a massive Nexus phone, do you think Google will continue to sell the Nexus 5 alongside the newer Nexus 6? Let us know what you think in the comments.
