While many folks can get by with a single-SIM handset, there’s something to be said about the flexibility that is afforded to you when you have a dual SIM device. A dual-SIM setup allows you to not only potentially have two different phone numbers but you can also have one SIM for data, another SIM for calling and text, you can more easily travel abroad without having to remove your primary SIM card and the list goes on.

Typically manufacturers do not make dual SIM versions of all their phones, instead they usually create dual SIM models for phones that are popular in the international markets. The Moto G is one heck of a phone, released in January 2014, the Moto G has made quite a buzz since its release. Why? Because its packs unbelievably solid specs and yet manages such a small price tag. Boasting a quad core Snapdragon processor and a 4.5 inch display this phone provides a fast and fluid Android experience that is extremely impressive at any price point, but absolutely astounding when you consider the Moto G’s aggressive price tag. We were able to review the non dual sim version of the Moto G and we gave it our thumbs up. The Dual sim version of the Moto G was released in May 2014.

The HTC Desire 816 is HTC’s entry in to the  mid range market, it’s a phone that packs a lot of high end specs into a mid range price. The 816 is a photo lovers dream with it’s 13MP camera and 5mp front facing camera (selfie anyone?). The Samsung Galaxy S5 is one of the top Android smartphones of 2014 and is available as a dual sim. The S5 sports a 5.1″ Super AMOLED Capacitive Multi-Touchscreen w/ Protective Corning Gorilla Glass 3.  It comes loaded with Android v4.4.2 (KitKat), Quad-Core 2.5 GHz Krait 400 Processor, Chipset: Qualcomm MSM8974AC Snapdragon 81, Adreno 330 Graphics. The Sony Xperia M2 Dual Android phone was released in May 2014 and is likely to be one of the most popular dual sim Android phones of 2014. The Xperia M2 is an upgrade from last year’s Xperia M. The 4.8″ inch phone comes loaded with a powerful 1.2GHZ Snapdragon 400 quad core processor, giving you enough power to take the phone to the limits. The phone also features a generous sized 8MP camera that will allow to take beautiful photos.
