It looks like LG is gearing up for a big year. Not only are they rumored to be entering the wearables game with both a fitness wristband and a smartwatch, but they are also reportedly planning to release the LG G3 in the first half of 2014 — perhaps as early as MWC.
Now a new report from Korean website Naver suggests that LG might be preparing a second high-end device for release early this year, the LG G Pro 2. According to Daishin Securities analyst John Park, the G Pro 2 will likely be released sometime around March, which seems to indicate that LG could be preparing to announce the handset at MWC. If this proves true, that means LG could be gearing up for a massive showing at MWC with two new wearables, the LG G Pro 2 and perhaps even the LG G3.
So what else do we know about the alleged G Pro 2? Nothing really. Currently there are no reports on what to expect from the handset, feature-wise. The big question is whether the LG G Pro 2 can provide a more worthy Note competitor than the first generation model. Hopefully we’ll know more one way or another in the next couple of months.
What do you think, excited by the idea of a new G Pro handset or not?
